So after yesterday's little fall...i have decided to leave the off trying to imitate Spider man...as i think my technique needs a little bit of work...hehehe

Am very sore and sorry for myself today

10 Things not to do whilst pregnant

1 - Walk all the way to daycare in the blazing heat...and walk home again...
2 - worry about saving on petrol so you walk in the heat...
3 - Play wacky races with toy cars down your driveway only to have son fall over laughing at his mum trying to run after them as they go right out into street!!!
4 - Try to put away an old winter quit into the top of your wardrobe and fall off the bloody stool you're on....
5 - Make a large bum shape hold in the plaster board....as you fall
6 - Try to stop yourself with your elbow on window stil...
7 - Try to tape up said bum size hole with a black bag and gaffer tape whilst son stands there trying to poke fingers in hole
8 - Have to close door of bedroom coz son is now obsessed with hole and will not STOP going on about it...alright already so mum's bum is now that big it can go through plaster board!
9 - Clean up after cat that will not stop peeing in our bathroom...anyone want a cat?
10 - Not have any chocolate in house to overcome stock of falling of silly little stool...

New arrival

Well my sister-in-law has had a little baby girl, 6lb 9oz and she is called Abbey Janet. She was born on Thursday @ 11am. Mother and Baby are doing fine.

I'm having another baby....hmmm yes i did know about the birds and the bee....but what does that have to do with babies is what i always wanted to know....

We have given little girl a nickname..trev...well we had started calling her this before we knew he was a she...so as with buggies we are keeping the name...unless something else turns up or you have any suggestions!!!!!

Hubby said we should called her madam..but I'm a wee bit unsure if that will turn her into one once she is here with us hmm will have to work on that one.

Am wondering if i should pretty up the nursery...or just leave it as is? something tells me that the colour pink is just itching to get into this house....no i will not give in....purple, aqua....and at a push yellow i will look at but pink...not way....keep it at bay.....oh I'm a poet....

I also while loving the background was getting the shits with it so thought time to get rid of it...and as I'm having a little girl why not go pink!!!! as it's so not me!!!

Bear is walking again...Grandma's can work miracles..yeah for Grandmas.....he is still walking like lurch from the monsters but it's upright and I'm not carrying him!!!!!

Walking again

Bear is up and walking again...somewhat like a zombie with a little limp and a shuffle but walking just the same. This is very good as it means that mum has not damage Bear, he is all fixed.....

Strange well maybe not but i have been waiting for the last 6 weeks just really holding my breath hoping that Bear's leg was going to be ok and not permanently damaged, IE one leg shorter than the other, that now i don't need to worry about that anymore I'm kind of deflated? what's with that!

THE CAST IS OFF

well at last cast is finally off ladies and gents...and Bear still finding it hard to walk...but as it's only been a few hours not concerned...impatient aren't I!

At least Bear is now about 2kgs lighter to carry!!! phew...Mum's back is giving a big sigh of relief

It's a Girl

Well we are 90% sure it's a girl...which is great as we have the name picked...Trev!!! only kidding, not going to let on what it is yet as too many peolpe have too many opions on it :-)

So we will have one of each...how clever!!!!

I do have to go back in for another scan as her kidneys were a little bit dilated, only on the borderline but they like to check up on these things...

Well as the dear hippy witch said we have walked, eat, coffeed..and yes i couldn't walk too fast as too many people that is good as we had a record crowd today...3282 that took part in today's race for Breast Cancer research. so that's over $65,640 dollars on registration alone...woohoo.

I just wised I'd pulled my finger out and got so sponsors..oh well can get so now!!!

Great News

My little sister is 14 weeks pregnant....I'm so happy for her, she will be due on the 18th April. She waited to tell me as late time she lost it at 16 weeks due to a blood clot, but started bleeding at 14 weeks...so all fingers crossed for her this time.

What a weekend

Well i had a ball...i cried a lot...laughed so much that i nearly peed myself (thank god i went to the loo before story time!!) ate way too much and did so many wonderful crafty things..even my son was impressed with me efforts....

So much time, love and effort was put into this weekend that i just want to say a big, big thank you again to Deb, Jen and Dianna for your time spend and for the lovely food that we had over the weekend...big hugs and hats off to you 3....hmm maybe you could go into business organizing retreats for other people..no...oh well just a thought!!!

Thanks also to Fairy i loved the Soul Collage, it was great and i never really thought that you could get so much out of one card...will try to carry on when i have time.

Day off

Today was a very good day for me, MIL had bear and i went to YAAD and got my nails done...very relaxing and very much needed.

What a great time

Well i must say i so needed the fun / laughter that we had at the cottage last night for a certain elf's 50th...i haven't laughed so much in a while.......

Loved the star fight..it was like going back in time!!!

PS....I'M GOING TO STROUND....WOOHOOOOO WITH LOTS OF BELLS ON IT

Well last night i was up over 7 times with Bear...thunk his new cast was giving him jip...is he now has a 90 degree bend in it and sleeps on his front!!hmm not working to good i don't think...hopefully it will get better as he gets used to it...only 36 days to go!!!

Great News

Bear's cast only has to be on for 6 weeks..not 8-10 woohoo, so that means with the 9 days it's already been on it should be off around the 11 Nov..beautiful. Plus he now has a waterproof cast on so we can bath him properly again...and it's a funky purple colour.

Race for Breast Cancer

For those of you that don't know there will be a race for Breast Cancer on Sunday 26Th Oct some of us lovely ladies from the cottage will be partaking in this race...but I'm not running anywhere let me tell you, I'll be doing a very sedate walk.

Thankful

Well i have come to the conclusion that things could have been worse re Bear....he could have hit his head and had Brain damage...he could have broken more than just is leg and if i was further along in my pregnancy i would not have been able to pick Bear up...so I'm looking on the bright side!!!!

Next Thursday we go to the clinic to re-xray and we will be getting a chart up on the wall, at Bear height, so that he can put a sticker on it at the end of each day so that he can track how close to the end he is..now he may not really understand it all but i want him to know that this cast is not on forever.....coz he isn't to know that.....

Bear is boot scooting around on his bum really well so he is happy to be mobile just need to watch for him trying to stand up!!!! Reiki is helping alot...as it would...and I'm hoping for great things next week....

Not Broken

well i don't think my thumb is broken as hubby keeps telling me "you'd know if it was" as of course he is expert as he has broken wrist twice, ankle twice..head never...hmm maybe it would help if he did....only kidding...really only kidding

Winnie the Pooh

Bear is now in love with Winnie the Pooh! ages ago i brought a Winnie the Pooh DVD which we did not want to watch at all..in fact got quite upset when i put it on..well since Tuesday pm we have had said DVD on all day every day...so mum can now repeat all stories / songs from this DVD...so mum has now gone online to buy more DVDs of Winnie the pooh to save my sanity in the next few weeks.

All that said I'm happy that he wants to watch Winnie the pooh as High 5 and play school were wearing a wee bit thin...but it keeps him happy so mum's happy.

i got myself checked out last night at the gp after hours clinic...all good with me & bub...only thing i forgot to ask about my thumb / wrist as i think i could have broken it!!!! never mind will work something out

update

well Bear kind of slept last night, from 7:30 till 10:30 then 10:30 to 1 then 1 to 5 so not bad when you think about it :-)

We have to go to the fracture clinic in 10 days when they take off the cast then re x-ray and re cast again...at the moment Bear is very, very frustrated because he cant get up and walk...he is moving around a bit more than i thought he would at this stage but then he was always a determined little boy.

I'm giving him reiki all the time so i'm hoping that his bones will knit very soon and the cast will not need to be on for as long...here's hoping

Poor wee Bear

Well today i wish is could rewind and never go near speers pt park...because that's were Bear broke his leg...yes and mum did it to him!!!!

That's what you get for going down a big boy slide with your child on your lap....my shirt acted like a rocket and wrooom off the end we fly...mum tried not to land on bear or my tummy but as i twisted to try and land on my side my knee came in contact with Bear's leg.....hmm the rest is not good...time spent in John hunter with the lovey Dr's and nurses and one poor wee little bear with a cast on his leg from toes to hip....on for the next 8-10 wks...joy of joys...

any healing would be good...

oh and I'm off to Dr's tomorrow to have check-up

now why is that i seem to get all these great thoughts whilst I'm trying to go to sleep and would you believe it i actual compose blog posts whilst I'm lying there but then....hmm if you look on my blog recently...not much really happening...

I have to say that i would like to back Lisa in saying that i do find it rather strange that you would commit to a course such as YAAD and not want to come to any of the full moon or sabbats? they are one of the major parts of walking this path...it is to me a great way to show your gratitude to the faith you have chosen.

Yes i know that family and work can interfere with all this but all the time? every sabbat or esbat?

i would love to see some more of my sisiters at thses rituals if only to catch up and enjoy their eneriges.

i have a brand new back...woohooooooooo...i can now walk around normally or as normally as i used to!!! by the way i found out from my most wonderful Dr that i can take strong stuff than paracetamol...i can take codeine!!! another big woooohooooo just wished i knew that last weekend...oh well know now, but will not need said drugs coz I've got a brand new back

i was thinking last night sometime around 2am as i couldn't sleep...due to some very loud barking dogs!!!!!!!

that why do we care so very much what other people think of us, who we are and what we do in our lives? now i can understand that if i was to say go around naked in the street, hmmm people may feel the need to say something....like..wow look at her she is sooo beautiful!!!! or comments such as that, but if I'm jut going about my daily life...why then do people need to make so much out of things...

now nothing has happen to me that has bothered me in the slightest, but am thinking of all the others marys i know that seem to be on this treadmill.....maybe the said "others" have no life of their own so need something to do...maybe they're just plain bored...go get a hobby is what i say!!!!

well i've had my 12 week scan and all is good..phew as some of you will know that i've been stressing about a friends child having slap cheek...which my Dr told be the worse case is me losing the baby...sometimes too much information can be bad for you!!! but as it now looks like she maynot have had this thing in the first place all is good.

All well

Had my first check-up today...all good, blood pressure normal...heart rate normal..so looks like I’m alive and kicking!!!! and only 67kgs and 8 weeks preggies...which is great as that's 3 kgs less than when I was pregnant with master Bear!!!

I have to be honest here and say that I did find today's YADD class a little frustrating...not that our lovely teacher was in anyway bad!!! But I had already been through the stuff we went through today and feel that I’ve missed out on something?

On a positive note i did get to write my Earth poem and come up with a sybmol for Prue...well almost finished it!!!!

I felt that there should be a pentagram in this design but not an officious one so in two of the designs there is a suggestion of a pentagram. The other design is simple and flows almost as her life should be.
On some of my designs there will be smaller lines that cross over the main design these have always signified to me life path changes. So the more lines I feel the need add the more life path changes the individual has had.
I add dots or circles to some design to signify either Maiden, Mother, Crone or aspects of the individual. On these design the different dots signify her transition from one Goddess aspect to another, hence some have 2 dots and others have 3 dots. The spirals show how we come into this life and so also go forth from this life.
