Jewell

Anyone who knows me will remember the day I ran…and I mean literally ran into the Cottage saying “I’ve got my new Magickal name and it’s Jewell”
Anyway this name was given to me on my way to the Cottage, I was driving there and I heard my Guardian Dragon “Lanith say “your new name is Jewell, use if well” I had been searching for a while to find a name that fit I knew that it would only be one short name and that it would be something to connect me to the earth as I had had a dream / vision that told me that my new name would be “of the earth, for the earth and from the earth”
This symbol came about one night whilst sitting in a hotel room in Sydney (I was down there for work)…bored I started to doddle, I was thinking about my new magickal name and what it meant to me…the next thing I know this symbol was on the page and when I looked at it all the letters of my magickal name were in it.
I now use this to sign all my spellwork, rituals and Book of Shadows work that I do, plus I have it tattooed on my ankle.
Little did I know that this was the start of something big!!!

Witch Symbol

Whilst I was sitting down designing a symbol for “Witch” I found that I had done this one symbol first, it jumped out at me as earlier that morning my mentor and I had been talking about my symbols and how I should come up with a name for them, that way I could start to advertise them. Well as you can see “Witch Symbol” is so perfect that I just had to use it.
This symbol is of how my life is at the present time, “Witch” and “Spiritual” at the same time. There was a brief time when I was unsure as to whether these too could co-exist within me, now I know that they can never really be apart.
The spiral on this design is for my continued journey inward to self discovery. Whilst the star within the circle is my definition of the Divine.
I have only added one dot in this design because at present I am aware that I need to deal with the Mother aspect in myself before any other.

About Witch Symbol

Witch Symbol is the name i came up with to help me define what it is that i do with words, names and phases. I felt that i needed something simple that would show people how my designs work....

New Blog, new start

OK so as we have changed from Telstra...got to love them...not and are now with optus, i couldn't figure out how to log into my blog...as the email address was different..so what the hell



I HAVE A NEW BLOG



I thought i would have a complete change as well.....so am going with Witch Symbol as i wish to get this up and running. I am in the process of putting a scrapbook together to showcase all the symbols that i have designed so far and hopefully will have this uploaded soon to the Blog...

that is of course if my silly Internet does not keep disconnecting in the middle of thing...grrrrr very not happy JAN!!!!!
